Meerendal via Cape Point
Begin your journey at the V and A Waterfront and rise into the sky for an unforgettable flight along the Cape Point scenic route. Your pilot guides you down the Atlantic coastline toward the Cape Peninsula, passing Camps Bay, Llandudno and Hout Bay before sweeping over the dramatic cliffs of Chapman’s Peak. The flight continues toward Cape Point where the two oceans meet in a powerful display of colour and coastline. It is one of the most iconic aerial experiences in Cape Town and sets the perfect tone for your day.
After rounding Cape Point, the route carries you back across the peninsula and toward the northern vineyards of Durbanville where Meerendal Wine Estate awaits. The estate is one of the oldest in the region and is known for its peaceful atmosphere, open lawns and warm hospitality. Your helicopter touches down at Meerendal where you will spend two relaxed hours on the ground. Enjoy a long lunch, explore the estate or simply take in the views of the surrounding countryside.
When your visit comes to an end, your pilot will meet you for the return flight to Sport Helicopters at the Waterfront. The journey back offers another chance to enjoy the scenery from above, completing a smooth and unforgettable wine estate experience.
